Steelroots Wraps Up Taping of 2004 Snowboard and Skate Tours

Nashville, TN – Well-known Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin recently commended Steelroots for their production work on Livin’ It, a popular new action sports DVD recently released by PalauFest Productions, a division of the Luis Palau Association. “When I first became a Christian, I started looking for hard-core, cutting-edge material with Christian content, and I found some great work out of Steelroots,” said Baldwin, who helped create the DVD. “They later became a solid partner as Livin’ It came together. We share a common mission: to bring the Good News to an extreme world.”

In addition to their work on Livin’ It, the Steelroots film crew recently finished taping episodes for the upcoming season of the highly acclaimed “Steelroots” series, which airs on The Inspiration Network (INSP) and many other syndicated stations nationwide. Steelroots joined top snowboarders Dar Short, Adam Short, Jim Rippey, Luke Wynen, Tommy Czechin and Chris Nelson in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Montana and Canada to film episodes featuring epic riding as well as behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the athletes.

In addition, Steelroots filmed four skateboard demos last month. Top-ranked skateboarders Danny Morrin, Phil Trotter, Jud Heald, Luke Braddock, Mason Cornwell and Jared Lee showed off their skills for audiences in Philadelphia, PA, Brookpark, OH, Waynesville, NC and Fort Mill, SC. The demos were a first for Steelroots and will be included in upcoming television episodes of the “Steelroots” series.

Steelroots Inc., formed in 2000 by Cerullo, won the 2003 National Radio Broadcaster (NRB) Association’s Bronze People’s Choice Award in the Children/Teen Category for the “Steelroots” television series. The company focuses primarily on providing quality music and action sports television programs that are geared toward teenagers and young adults. SRtv, the television branch of Steelroots Inc., includes the flagship program “Steelroots,” which follows the lives of Pro and Am action sports athletes on the road.
